Qualification
Philip holds the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD). The HPD is a Level 4 qualification which is considered the benchmark qualification for practice in the UK. It is held by over 20% of UK practitioners and enables admittance to all UK professional bodies for hypnotherapy. The qualification meets the UK's National Occupational Standards for hypnotherapy practice. It meets the requirements for registration with The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council in the UK (CNHC), which is an accredited register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. The HPD also meets the qualification requirements of UK insurers providing professional indemnity insurance to practitioners.
Philip has undertaken further studies and training with the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis leading to certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. This certification permits admittance to The General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR). He has also trained and qualified as a Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis.
Professional Memberships
Philip is a member by qualification of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH). The NCH is the largest hypnotherapy register mentioned in the recent Exeter University report on Complementary Medicine (Second Edition). It strives to maintain the highest standards among its members. Members are required to adhere to the NCH Code of Conduct and Complaints & Disciplinary Procedure and maintain comprehensive Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Philip is also registered with The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council in the UK (CNHC). The CNHC register has been approved as an Accredited Register by The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. The General Medical Council (GMC) guidance confirms that doctors are able to refer patients to practitioners on Accredited Registers.
